Over the past few years, several parties on the intellectual and formal arena have drawn some observations and ideas about the strategy of addressing the issue of women. Among those ideas a number of issues emerged to constitute special challenges, which should be addressed y the strategy makers as the majority of studies revealed. Those issues are divided into three major divisions:

Major issues of the age.

The world currently witnesses the wind of change and renewal in terms of political and economic reform approaches. There is increasing support to the activation of the women's role in the various aspects of the development process, which is changing the political scene, particularly in the developing countries.
- Currently, the issue of women is no longer a purely local affair. Yet, the industrialized nations hope that reforms shall take place in the Middle Eastern countries, which depend in many of their aspects on solving the social problems, especially those pertinent to activating the women's role in the society.
- Challenges arising from the state of globalization. A state within which the concepts, products of human efforts, and cultural elements move among the humans all over the world. Although the world today witnesses focus on the economic aspect of globalization, it has naturally expanded to cover the cultural issues. In this context, a major part of such increasing human cultural inter-communication should be beneficial to the recipient nations. Moreover, such communication has unfavorable effects, especially in terms of special cultural characteristics of each society. Such negative impacts clearly show that the dynamics of political change in the age of globalization no longer stem from purely local sources, but are affected by the winds of political change. We have to accept changes in our culture that enhance to concepts of co-existence, rather than confrontation and violence, as well as multilateralism, respect of freedoms and democratic values.
